INDIA, Iraq, Pakistan, South Africa; People condemn Israeli aggression on Iran.

TEHRAN – People from many walks of life participated in rallies and protests last week in India, Pakistan, Iraq, and South Africa expressing solidarity with Iran and condemning Israel’s aggression.

The Zionist regime launched an awe-inspiring act of unprovoked aggression against Iran last Friday killing at least 400 people, including dozens of women and children with1,800 people injured.

On Saturday thousands of Iraqis in Babil and Kirkuk rallied in solidarity with Tehran in response to a statement made by Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani condemning Israeli strikes and warning of chaos in the region if Iran’s leadership is attacked.

Speaking with Shafaq News (Saturday), demonstrators in Babil condemned Israel’s continued attacks on Iran, and stressed that pay attention to the contribution of the Islamic position to “confronting injustice and arrogance.”

“We reject this demonstration of Israeli strikes on Iran and declare that we stand with our neighbor in this war,” confirmed that solidarity among Islamic countries was “the strongest weapon against aggression.”

Earlier Saturday, supporters of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) marched in Baghdad’s al-Kadhimiya district to announce solidarity with Iran.

The demonstration came on the heels of nationwide rallies on Friday, organized by the Patriotic Shiite Movement (the Sadrist), to stand in solidarity with Iran in response to a call from its leadership.

After Friday prayers, a large rally led by the Imam of the Shia Jama Masjid, Maulana Mohsen Takrir at Delhi’s Kashmiri Gate indicated a strong display of solidarity by Indian Muslims with the people of Iran after Israel’s recent airstrikes on Iranian targets.

The demonstration took place amidst the escalation of Iran and Israel in the second week after Israel attacked Iran last Friday.

Hundreds of protestors demonstrated a strong show of solidarity and support for Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei holding signs with his pictures reading “We stand with Iran.” Slogans were raised in support of Khamenei, who has been receiving threats of continued threats from Israel.

The participants showed their intolerance to threats.
