Hamas release three captives for 369 Palestinian prisoners.

The remaining three Israeli captives have been surrendered through the Red Cross on the same day 369 Palestinian were to be freed. This is part of a swap that is integrated in a negotiated period of peace.

On Saturday, the fighters set in front of their peers in Khan Yunis to address the city before they were turned over to the Red Cross. All three men, who had the bags and gifts along with his award, urged for further resolutions in the face of the current ceasefire.

According to reports from Hamas and Islamic Jihad, approximately two hundred additional men were present at the handover of arms to the sole commander who is participating in the ceremony.

This is the sixth release that took place since the beginning of the year. The previously agreed terms of the ceasefire were speculated to be turning sour after it was evident that the Israel government did not support optimally assisting Gaza with the needed resources.

According to The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club, an advocacy organization, the deal was that Israel would release 369 prisoners of war.

Most of them are from the Gaza Strip and were captured during the unprecedented operation on October 7 within the southern settlements.

Massive amounts of controversy have unfolded regarding the ceasefire ever since United States President Donald Trump recommended that America ‘takes over’ Gaza – suggesting that we remove the citizens of Gaza and ‘own’ the Palestinian territories. This idea ignited.
