As per Russian and Ukrainian ministers’ news in August last year, the Koretsk region of Russia was under the threat of invading and in light of this, there is a search for missing civilians. The Ukrainian government claims that, approximately 20000 civilians deterred in Ukrainian borders, however, Russia claims around 1000 civilians are missing. Finally, in an understanding aid appeal by the United Nations, around 8.2 million amounting to $3.332 billion are set to be raised by 2025.

Humanitarian Aid This is an incredibly great initiative set by UN as refugees and people impacted by the war in Ukraine were in dire need of support, let us hope the estimate shall be reached. The Head of the UN Refugee Agency said “This is not the moment to shift focus away from the many Ukrainians who have experienced displacement.”

Around 13,000 Ukrainians have submitted claims and submission seeking damages that totaled over 800 million dollars at the Register of Damages for Ukraine, claiming loss and injury for themselves as well as family members. The Register was set up in Ukraine to seek reparation from Russia for the damages that have incurred to the people and nation of Ukraine due to the war inflicted on them by Russia and is the accomplishment of the European Union and Europe Council.
