As per Russian and Ukrainian ministers’ news in August last year, the Koretsk region of Russia was under the threat of invading and in light of this, there is a search for missing civilians. The Ukrainian government claims that, approximately 20000 civilians deterred in Ukrainian borders, however, Russia claims around 1000 civilians are missing. Finally, in an understanding aid appeal by the United Nations, around 8.2 million amounting to $3.332 billion are set to be raised by 2025.

Around 13,000 Ukrainians have submitted claims and submission seeking damages that totaled over 800 million dollars at the Register of Damages for Ukraine, claiming loss and injury for themselves as well as family members.
