The U.S. President Donald Trump revealed that he may meet Russian President Vladimir Putin rather “soon”, as officials of the two nations are expected to meet in Saudi Arabia to hold peace talks over ending the war in Ukraine.
“There’s no time set yet, but it will be very soon,” Trump told reporters ahead of the talks between the U.S. and Russian officials in Saudi Arabia.
“It would be very soon; we will see how things turn out,” Trump replied while agreeing to a suggestion that the meeting could take place before the month was over.

“Of course, this must be followed by action. And the next few weeks will tell if it is serious or not,” Rubio said, speaking during an interview with CBS’s Face the Nation.

This war cannot end when it is merely a pause before Putin attacks again.”
